Fall harvest time is coming to the Hill Country, with tree-ripened apples in its orchards, pumpkin patches, corn mazes and festivals like the Llano River Pumpkin Float. You’ll find all of this fall fun as close as half a mile and no more than 30 miles away from our Mustard Seed Bed and Breakfast on the Llano.

Watch the “spook-tacularly magic” Llano River Pumpkin Float Saturday, October 26, 2019. This Hill Country Fall festival is right here in Llano at Badu Park, just a short walk from our B&B. Visitors come from far and near to watch the flotilla of lighted pumpkins float along the Llano River, creating beautiful reflections on the water. At the festival, everyone is invited to contribute a pre-carved pumpkin (no paint or glitter, please) with a candle or light. Visit the Facebook page for details as well as photos and video from past festivals.
