The holiday season has arrived in Llano, with our Starry Starry Nights brightening the crisp winter nights until the New Year, and the holiday fun of playing in the snow on Saturday, December 9, 2017. We look forward to welcoming our guests to the newly-opened Mustard Seed Bed and Breakfast on the Llano, and to our community’s special holiday celebrations.
When you are coming to the Hill Country this holiday season, plan to stroll along the Llano River and through our “Christmas Park” one evening. The twinkling lights and animated displays are sure to make the season bright with some holiday magic and perhaps even romance. Our guests are able to enjoy a Starry Starry Night every evening from 6:00 – 9:00 pm from Thanksgiving weekend through New Year’s Eve. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy a warm cup of cocoa as you wander through the sparkling landscape after dinner.
Snow always appears in Llano the second Saturday in December, no matter what the weather forecast. Temperatures may reach the 60’s this year, which makes our yearly chance to play in the snow even more fun for children of all ages! Imagine our local park transported to the White Mountains or the Rockies, when it’s really only a half-mile from our B&B! Snow Day fun starts at 1:00 pm and lasts until 9:00 pm or sooner if the snow melts. Remember what Frosty says each year, “Let’s run and have some fun… before I melt away”!
Of course, Llano’s shops offer great holiday shopping, too, just a block from our historic bed and breakfast. Christmas on The Llano is a four week shopping bonanza, with weekly drawings for prizes – each purchase at any of 24 shops means an entry in the drawings. The holiday season will disappear almost as quickly as our snow, so don’t wait to give us a call or go online and reserve your December getaway to our cozy B&B.
