The Starry Starry Nights Lighted Christmas Park in Badu Park features more than 100 displays and more than 1,000,000 lights! The Park is just a half mile across the river from our nearby Mustard Seed Bed and Breakfast on the Llano.

The Lighted Christmas Park, where you can enjoy the holiday lighting display as you stroll along the Llano River, opens every night from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. There’s hot chocolate to sip, and Santa Claus visits the Park ever Friday and Saturday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm until December 22, when he returns to the North Pole to load his sleigh.

Llano is a great place to do some of your Christmas shopping, too. The Art Guild’s Annual Christmas Artisan Market features “Art in the Heart of Texas”, hand-made works of art that include holiday decorations, jewelry, pottery, paintings, glass work, and leather craft. All are created by local artists and are for sale until December 23, 2018, during the gallery’s regular hours from 10 am – 4 pm Thursdays through Saturdays and noon – 4 pm on Sundays.red wine in glass in front of glass cylinder with Christmas balls and swirling ribbons

It’s another great reason for a holiday getaway. Tickets sell out quickly for this holiday wine trail when 44 wineries, including several near Llano, deck the cellars and celebrate the season with holiday cheer.

Saturday, December 1, 2018, visitors can tour Llano homes festively decorated for the season during the Woman’s Culture Club’s annual Holiday Home Tour from 12 – 5 pm (tickets may be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce, 100 Train Station Drive). As dusk falls that evening, visitors can watch the Llano Lighted Christmas Parade around the courthouse square; then enjoy the annual Sip & Stroll among the local shops and restaurants.
