Texas Wine Month
Come celebrate Texas Wine Month during our beautiful fall in the Hill Country! Our region “has blossomed into one of the most popular wine tourism destinations in the country, second only to Napa Valley.” (AustinMonthly.com) With a Texas Hill Country Wineries Tasting Passport, you can enjoy sipping and sampling award winning wines at the 48 participating, unique Hill Country Wineries from October 1 – 31, 2019. The Tasting Passport ($65 individual, $95 couple) includes a full complimentary tasting at up to 4 wineries a day plus a 15% discount on 3 bottle purchases at each winery.
Many of these wineries are located within 20-30 miles of Llano and the Mustard Seed Bed & Breakfast on the Llano. In addition to those in the Fredericksburg and Stonewall area, you can visit 3 wineries near Llano in Burnet and Tow. These 3 can be combined in a route that takes less than 2 hours of driving time from your home base at our Llano bed and breakfast. All 3 wineries produce wines exclusively from 100% Texas grown fruit, highlighting the unique terroirs of the Hill Country and Texas High Plains. Please visit the wineries’ individual websites for tasting notes and additional information about the wines.
