Mustard Seed Bed and Breakfast on the Llano

2019 Llano River Pumpkin Float

lighted smiling orange jack o'lantern against black backgroundThe glow of lighted pumpkins at the 2019 Llano River Pumpkin Float creates a magical parade as they drift downstream on the river in the Texas Hill Country. Reflections of the lighted pumpkins on the moving water under the dark sky will transform Badu Park into a beautiful art installation for a few hours on Saturday, October 26, 2019. This Halloween festival has become an annual tradition in Llano, drawing growing numbers of spectators from far and near. In addition to the floating carved pumpkins, there will be live music, dance performances, and a cake walk to add to the fall festivities.

Everyone is invited to bring a pre-carved pumpkin with a candle or light to Badu Park by 6:00 pm (no paint or glitter please). The floating parade will begin with all the pumpkins lit and in the water in an artistic arrangement.
